The Horse Resort in WA uses LightRider Bitless Bridles for all their trail horses.
Have you ever wondered what the real benefits of riding bit-free are?
Riders from around the world revealed how using a bitless bridle solved their biggest issues:
  • Grabbing the bit and running through the hand, as well as general unresponsiveness to the hands.
  • Pulling the reins away from my daughter.
  • Deafness! I can 'hear' my horse now..
  • Head tossing.
  • Trust.
  • Avoiding the bridle/bit going on.
  • Not chomping constantly on the bit.
  • General tension through the body, snatching at the bit.
  • Tension.....my boy was always mouthy & never happy in a bit.
  • Instead of concentrating on her mouth all the time she listens to me and we are much more connected.
  • Me feeling better for not putting a piece of metal in my horses mouth.
  • I can concentrate on getting my aids nice and clear and light while my horse is super chilled.
  • We have formed a truer connection, and there is no resistance for him to push against now, we are in better flow together .
  • I was nervous to start with but built up slowly until I realised I could trust my mare just the same in the bitless bridle.
  • My horse cooperates. He feels my body better, and cues have gone from loud to almost non-existent. He also trusts me more.
  • It has solved my internal conflict of wanting to ride, but innately feeling that it was unpleasant for the horse and having the dilemma of what to do about that.
  • My mare has such a soft mouth that bits would leave her bruised.
