"Jimmy is a standardbred who belongs to a friend of a friend (who runs the Eponas Patures Standardbred Horse Rescue) and by a twist of circumstances has ended up living at my place indefinitely. Jimmy has a wonderful temperament but would flick his head nervously when setting out for a ride and pace several steps before settling into a trot. On swapping him into the LightRider bitless bridle the head flicking disappeared almost immediately and he now moves straight into a trot. He loves to relax his head and neck all the way down to the ground at the canter having found this new found freedom without the worry of having his head pulled up and back. I love the Performer rope halter/bitless bridle as I can tie him up with it when trail riding, camping etc and then just clip the reins on it and go, and also use the loop underneath when doing some one rein halter training.
